Destination EdinburghTerms & ConditionsYour contract is with Glory Days Limited, 48 Eastfield, Edinburgh, EH15 2PN, a company registered in Scotland, but complying with the laws of England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Australia. If you wish to book via telephone or the Internet we will assume you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions. BookingsIt will be understood the lead person (person who dealt with a member of Glory Days Limited staff in arranging the weekend/event) has authorization from all members of his/her group to act on their behalf, and that lead person will be held responsible for collecting and paying the full amount for the weekend/event. In the event one or more members of his/her group do not pay, he/she will be held liable. This person must be over 18 years of age. It will also be understood the lead person has informed his/her group of the Terms & Conditions and they accept them. We expect all clients to act and behave in a courteous manner. We are not liable for any damage caused by you and your group. The lead member will be held responsible and liable to pay compensation for any damage caused to hotel premises, or equipment at the activity venues. You will be informed of any clothing/equipment requirements prior to your activity/event and Glory Days Limited would expect you to follow recommendations. We also expect you to use any safety equipment as instructed. Alcohol & drugs are strictly forbidden when participating in our driving or shooting activities. If any of our suppliers detect or suspect alcohol or drugs have been used by any member of your group they will have the right to refuse participation in the event/activity and no refund will be made. All our venues are fully insured with fully qualified instructors. Glory Days Limited assumes you and your party are fully aware of the dangerous nature of some activities and the risks involved. Glory Days Limited will not be held responsible for claims for injury or loss, unless caused by the negligence of Glory Days Limited. PaymentWe cannot confirm a booking until we receive a minimum 20% deposit. This can be paid by cheque or credit card. Credit card payments incur an extra 2.5% charge. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance must be paid at least 8 weeks before the event/weekend. Any booking made inside the 8-week period must be paid in full at the time. Any changes to the booking may incur extra costs. Many activities require a minimum number of 10 - 16 people depending on activity, therefore, if your numbers drop, the remainder of your group will have to cover the cost. Additions will be charged at the original quoted rate. There will be no extra administration charges for the first alteration, but additional alterations will incur a £10 charge. Cancellation by YouIn the event of cancellation by you, Glory Days Limited will retain all payments to date and will be entitled to recover, if not already paid, the following balance of total cost:
In the event of a reduction in the numbers of your group, the above will apply pro rata, unless the numbers drop to under 10 - 16, depending on activity. Cancellation by Glory Days LimitedAdverse weather conditions do not entitle either party to cancel, unless, for certain events/activities, the safety risks are deemed unacceptable by Glory Days Limited. We reserve the right to cancel in such circumstances and will make every effort to reschedule. Under these circumstances Glory Days Limited will not be obliged to refund any money if we cancel an event/activity due to adverse weather conditions that would affect safety. Glory Days Limited, however, will make every attempt to offer an alternative event/activity before resorting to a new date. We strongly recommend you take out insurance to cover all eventualities. Apart from adverse weather conditions affecting the safety aspect of the activity/event, Glory Days Limited will only cancel if, for reasons beyond our control:
Under these circumstances we will make a full refund. Packages Which Include FlightsAny flights we arrange for you will be booked with ATOL holders and flight bookings will be subject to their conditions. When we have booked a flight we will issue you with an ATOL receipt confirming the money for the flight is held by us on behalf of an ATOL holder. A contract will exist between you and that ATOL holder once they issue a confirmation invoice, which we shall send to you as soon as we receive it. All other arrangements offered by us are provided under a separate contract from the flight arrangements and will be separately invoiced. Your payment for the flights is protected by the ATOL license. Payment for your flights is required in full at time of booking. Cancellation or Alteration by YouYou may alter your booking if you wish and we will do our best to accommodate you. However, any costs incurred in the alteration will be passed on to you, along with any additional costs depending on the alteration. You may also cancel at any time but any cancellation will be subject to the same conditions previously stated, apart from flights. Depending on the airline, flights may not be refundable under any circumstances. The same applies to any tickets purchased on your behalf as part of your package. Cancellation by Glory Days Limited / Third PartyWe reserve the right to cancel if payment is not received by the required date.If an event/activity is cancelled out with our control we reserve the right to charge the balance of the package. In the event of a cancellation of a sports event where we supply ticket/hospitality and accommodation/other services we will refund the amount that is officially refunded from the ticket supplier - due to other commitments (Hotel payments etc.) any further refund will not be given (as an example if a package includes a cricket match which is two nights Hotel and a match ticket, if the match is cancelled/postponed/date change due to weather or any other factor then the only refund will be the official ticket price - all other parts of the package will be honoured by Glory Days Limited. We reserve the right to cancel owing to Low Booking. (if your numbers drop making the package uneconomical/impractical) We reserve the right to cancel owing to Force Majeure (includes war, threat of war, riot, civil disobedience or strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or industrial disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, unforeseen operational decisions of air carriers such as changes of schedule, or any unforeseeable or unavoidable events beyond the Company's control.) Glory Days Limited will never cancel a package within 30 days of the event except for reasons of Force Majeure. If we cancel before that period we will endeavor to arrange another package, the price difference payable/refundable as appropriate. Alternatively a full refund will be made. What Happens NextOnce all the formalities have been dealt with and full payment has been received, you will be sent a pack with all the relevant information you will need for your event/activity. It will contain details of your hotel, activity venue, transfers etc. It will be the lead persons responsibility to read through the information and notify Glory Days Limited immediately if there is a query. We do not accept responsibility if you delay more than 7 days before notifying us. It will also be the responsibility of the lead person to notify the other members of his group. Data ProtectionOccasionally Glory Days Limited may wish to access any information you provide when you make a booking, such as your name and address, for marketing purposes such as sending you latest offers. If you do not wish to receive these communications please write to the address at the top of the page. |
